Freya Alexander is a queer artist, writer and educator from Naarm/Melbourne, Australia. Freya co-runs Gems, a collective that publish zines with art and writing by women and non-binary creatives. Freya was part of the 2021/22 West Writers program, through Footscray Community Arts. Freya has had work exhibited at Brunswick Street Gallery, fortyfivedownstairs, in.cube8r Gallery, No Vacancy Gallery, Platform Arts, and more. She has had written work published in The Pocketry Almanack, The Community Voice, and more.
